The 16 ton capacity forklift is a heavy-duty diesel model developed from our standard heavy-duty 16-ton forklift. This version is rated to lift 16,000 kg at a 900 mm load center, so its rated capacity is based on the actual working load-center condition of this machine.
The truck comes with a full cabin and air conditioning. It is adapted for 40HQ container shipment while remaining a heavy-duty 16-ton forklift. The transport arrangement allows several major assemblies to be removed before loading, making it possible to ship this version in a high-cube container instead of using the flat-rack solution normally required for our standard heavy-duty 16-ton model.

Factory Test Before Packing
The forklift is tested as a complete machine before packing starts.
We carry out a load-capacity test as well as operation without a load. The truck is also driven on the road so that travel, steering and braking can be checked under normal movement.
Hydraulic pressure is another item we check. Controls, switches and the main operating functions are run during the same stage.
The packing work starts after these checks are finished. This means the machine is first tested in assembled condition rather than waiting until individual parts have already been removed for transport.
Why This Version Can Use a 40HQ
Our standard large 16-ton forklift would normally need a flat-rack container for shipment. This version can be prepared for one 40HQ instead.
To make that possible, several large parts are removed before container loading. These include the mast, fork carriage, forks and cabin. Two outer tires are also removed, together with some other parts required by the loading arrangement.
The 16 ton capacity forklift therefore does not enter the container in its fully assembled form. The removed components travel together with the truck and need to be installed again after arrival.
For an overseas project, this difference between a flat-rack shipment and a 40HQ shipment is worth confirming before the final delivery plan is made.

No. Fork positioner is part of the standard working configuration, while side shift is optional. If side shift is required, it should be confirmed before production so the hydraulic configuration can be prepared with the order.
