1. Before lifting, the weight of the goods must be known; the weight must not exceed the forklift's rated lifting capacity.

2. When lifting packaged goods, ensure the packaging is secure.

3. Adjust the fork spacing according to the size of the goods, ensuring even distribution between the forks to avoid uneven loading.

4. When inserting goods into a stack, the mast should tilt forward. After loading the goods into the forks, the mast should tilt backward, keeping the goods close to the fork sides and lowering the goods as much as possible before moving.

5. Lifting and lowering goods should generally be done from a vertical position.

6. When manually loading and unloading, the handbrake must be used to stabilize the forks.

7. Moving and lifting must not be operated simultaneously.

8. When transporting goods on steep slopes, ensure the goods are securely attached to the forks.
