The 3 Ton Forklift Truck is a CPC(D)30 seated diesel counterbalance model used for pallet handling at agricultural supply yards, feed distributors and similar businesses. Goods can be received in full pallet quantities, held in covered storage and then moved to the dispatch area as orders are prepared for collection.
The work is not always limited to moving a complete pallet from one place to another. Agricultural suppliers may carry several packaging types, and orders are sometimes prepared from stock that has already been opened or partly picked. The forklift handles the prepared pallet, while the way the remaining bags or cartons are arranged determines whether that pallet is ready to move.

A Pallet After Part of the Order Has Been Picked
A full pallet of feed bags may arrive tightly stacked and wrapped. Once part of an order has been taken from it, the remaining bags may no longer form the same stack.
This is quite common where a distributor supplies both full-pallet and smaller orders.
Before the 3 Ton Forklift Truck collects the pallet again, the remaining packages need to be properly arranged. A few heavy bags left on one side, torn outer packaging or an unstable top layer can make an otherwise ordinary pallet awkward to carry.
The condition of the pallet itself matters as well. Broken boards or damaged fork-entry openings should not be overlooked simply because the bags are still intact.
There is no special attachment involved in this type of handling. The truck works with the load carrier beneath the goods. Getting the pallet ready is a separate part of the job.
The Ground Between the Shed and the Truck
The distance from a covered storeroom to the loading position may be short. That does not mean the whole route has the same surface.
An old concrete joint at the shed entrance, a drainage channel or a repaired patch near the loading area can be more troublesome than the open yard itself.
This CPC(D)30 forklift uses pneumatic tires, with a listed minimum ground clearance of 135 mm at the mast. It is a conventional industrial forklift, not a rough-terrain model.
A small change in ground level is worth looking at before regular loaded trips begin. The mast area is relatively low, and a pallet stacked with bags can also be affected by sudden movement over an uneven section.
Hard, maintained working surfaces are the appropriate starting point. Soft ground, deep ruts and badly broken concrete require a different assessment rather than assuming the tires will manage them.

Q1. Can this diesel forklift operate inside a covered warehouse?
A roof alone does not determine whether diesel operation is appropriate. The building's ventilation and exhaust exposure need to be assessed against local workplace requirements. A fully enclosed or poorly ventilated storage area should not be treated in the same way as an open-sided loading shed.
Q2. What gradeability is listed for this forklift?
The CPC(D)30 specification gives 15% with load and 20% without load. These values describe the listed machine performance; they are not a general operating limit for every ramp. Surface condition, traction, the actual load and the manufacturer's operating instructions still govern whether a particular slope can be used.
Q3. What fork dimensions are supplied as standard?
The specified forks measure 1,220 × 122 × 45 mm, stated as length, width and thickness. A different length can be considered if the customer's pallets require it, but the final dimensions should be agreed as part of the machine configuration.
